Two Building Extensions for Yale & Towne
- Stamford, CT
- Contract: Mar 1907
This project, two 1-story extensions to existing Y&T buildings at the Stamford complex, is the best-documented of the multiple FBG projects for Yale & Towne.
The work is described in multiple trade notices as a press shop extension of 80×156 feet and a cabinet lock department extension of 42×80 feet.
One notice indicates “this is the sixth building constructed for the Yale & Towne Company by Mr. Gilbreth,” and another says “sixth and seventh building[s],” but only five (plus a connector building) have been identified in available records.

Unknown. Many former Y&T buildings stand but it is not certain which may have been FBG projects.
