This project was a later contract in San Francisco, a 5-story hotel on Ellis Street, near Powell (and at the corner of the now-vanished Anna Lane). It appeared in multiple notices paired with the Union Square Hotel, built at the same time. The notices confuse some details, but this hotel was designed by Coxhead & Coxhead for the Irving M. Scott estate and built of brick and steel construction.
